Nick Scorza was born in Seattle, grew up in Washington, DC, lived for a while in the Czech Republic, and now resides in Astoria, Queens. He writes both spec-fic and what’s usually called ‘literary fiction.’ Stories of his can be found in Something Wicked, Hobart, Dogwood, and Beneath Ceaseless Skies.
Yasmine Seale is a British-Syrian writer and translator. Her translations from Arabic include The Annotated Arabian Nights (W. W. Norton, 2021) and Something Evergreen Called Life (Action Books, 2023), a collection of poems by Rania Mamoun. She lives between Paris and New York, where she teaches at Columbia University.
Nicola Chapman has worked professionally as an actress for over thirty years in TV, film, radio and internet. Her voice-over experience includes TV and radio advertising, singing jingles, film dubbing and synchronisation, training videos, corporate films, animation, video games and Interactive Voice Response for telephone menus. She spends most of her time running her voice-over business, Offstimme, which sources and provides translations, subtitles and voice-overs in over 40 languages. She has been known to write a story or two, purely for her own enjoyment, but she loves bringing other people’s stories to life in the studio.
When not working, reading or playing with her cats, Nicola can often be found up to her elbows in flour, trying to make the perfect brioche. This may take a while….
Peter is a British stage and screen actor who is also a naturalized German citizen. Born in Barnstaple, England, he started his acting career on stage at the world famous Leeds City Varieties in 1994. Other regional theatre engagements were followed by a stint on local TV as a presenter. Moving to Europe he took on more voice work and became a founding member of an English speaking theatre company in Leipzig, Germany. He is known for Uncharted (dir. Ruben Fleischer), the award winning short film Swiped, in which he starred and produced, as well as Coronation Street in the UK, Gute Zeiten Schlechte Zeiten in Germany and the Russian films Chempion Mira and Diversant IV. His upcoming TV projects include the international production Concordia.
Effie Seiberg is a fantasy and science fiction writer. Nibedita Sen is a Hugo, Nebula, and Ignyte Award-nominated queer Bengali writer from Calcutta, and a graduate of Clarion West 2015 whose work has appeared or is forthcoming in Uncanny, Podcastle, Nightmare and Fireside. She accumulated a number of English degrees in India before deciding she wanted another in creative writing, and that she was going to move halfway across the world for it.
These days, she can be found working as an editor while consuming large amounts of coffee and videogames. She lives in NYC with her boo and their sweet, flatulent old cat, enjoys the company of puns and potatoes, and is nearly always hungry. Diane Severson is a lyric soprano specializing in Early Music, especially Baroque and medieval music. Diane has been involved in the SF Poetry Scene (yes, it’s a thing) since 2010. She has narrated for StarShipSofa, and PodCastle. She produces the sporadic podcast, Poetry Planet and is a member of the Science Fiction Poetry Association. She is a staff blogger for Amazing Stories Magazine focusing on Science Fiction Poetry.
