Den Patrick
Den is the author of the wonderful Dwarf, Elf and Orc War Fighting Manuals, in-universe anthropology texts about the culture, weapons and history of the three cultures. Imagine Art of War written by Douglas Adams and you’re close. He’s also the author of the fantastic novel The Boy With The Porcelain Blade and, along with the magnificent Jen Williams, has pioneered Super Relaxed Fantasy Club, a new, rapidly growing author/publisher/fan/editor/agent meeting that’s started to spread across the UK.

Julia Patt is an associate editor here at PodCastle, as well as a writer and teacher from Maryland. Her fiction has appeared in Clarkesworld, Escape Pod, Luna Station Quarterly, and other places. Dagny Paul is a lapsed English teacher, failed artist, and sometimes writer who lives in New Orleans, Louisiana. She has an unhealthy (but entertaining) obsession with comic books and horror movies, which she consumes whenever her six-year-old son will let her (which isn’t often).
Shari Paul
Shari Paul is a speculative fiction writer from Trinidad and Tobago. A clerk by day, Shari writes adventures in strange new worlds by night. Shari is published in FIYAH and The Dark, and is soon to have her first translated work in a forthcoming issue of Italian speculative magazine Il Buio. Shari has a BA in Literatures in English, and is currently writing for a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at the University of the West Indies.
H. K. Payne
H.K. Payne gets writing inspiration from all sorts of sources, including, but not limited to: random song lyrics, magazine photographs, seemingly benign interactions at the grocery store, and her frequent bizarre and vivid dreams. She has a stack of novels in various stages of editing, an ever-growing list of new ideas vying for her attention, and a tendency to overthink which project she should be working on. Laura Pearlman is an ordinary human who lives in California with two ordinary felines. Her short fiction has been published in Shimmer, Mothership Zeta, and Daily Science Fiction, among other places. Her LOLcat captions have been published on McSweeney’s.
