Sarah Monette and Katherine Addison are the same person.
She grew up in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, one of the three secret cities of the Manhattan Project. She got her B.A. from Case Western Reserve University, her M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Despite being summa cum laude, none of her degrees is of the slightest use to her in either her day job or her writing, which she feels is an object lesson for us all. She currently lives near Madison, Wisconsin.
Hollis Monroe is an award-winning writer, producer, voice talent, music director, opera and jazz singer, emcee and Shakespearean. He has done numerous commercial and industrial recordings, published movie soundtrack reviews, served as executive producer and as a reader for IPR’s long-running “The Book Club”, and as writer/producer/narrator of the Sevareid Award winning radio series “Soundtrack to the Struggle”.
Catherine Lucille Moore (January 24, 1911 – April 4, 1987) was an American science fiction and fantasy writer, who most often used the pen name C. L. Moore. She was among the first women to write in either genre (though earlier woman writers in these genres include Sophie Wenzel Ellis, Clare Winger Harris, Lilith Lorraine, Greye La Spina, Francis Stevens, Leslie F. Stone, and Everil Worrell).
Moore’s work paved the way for many other female speculative fiction writers. She and her first husband Henry Kuttner were prolific co-authors under their own names and three pseudonyms (Lawrence O’Donnell, C. H. Liddell, and Lewis Padgett).
Maxine is a creative who has dabbled in a variety of fields, including theater, film, radio, photography and now, voice acting! She can often be found watching movies and arguing about them, drinking tea, traveling, or enjoying a good book. She lives with her husband in the Washington D.C. area.
“Taven” Moore is the pseudonym for the married writing team of Tami and Steven Moore. In addition to writing, they also play a perfectly healthy number of video games and spend a lot of time cooking. They grew up in the wild cowfields of Texas, dodging prickly pear cactus and cowpatties while learning how to properly use the word “y’all” in a sentence.
Born in Indiana, Joe Moran (He/Her) loves fiction, audio, and all things dramatic. He was trained to act and create soundscapes at Indiana University, playing parts in productions of Three Sisters and By the Bog of Cats. Samir Sirk Morató is a scientist, artist, and flesh heap. They are also a two-time Brave New Weird shortlister and a F(r)iction Fall 2022 Flash Fiction finalist. Silvia Moreno-Garcia is the critically-acclaimed author of Signal to Noise—winner of a Copper Cylinder Award, finalist of the British Fantasy, Locus, Sunburst and Aurora awards—and Certain Dark Things, selected as one of NPR’s best books of 2016. The Beautiful Ones, a novel of manners with a speculative element, is her third book. She won a World Fantasy Award for her work as an editor.
Stephanie Malia Morris holds an MFA in Fiction from the Michener Center for Writers at the University of Texas. She has received fellowships from Kimbilio, Periplus, and Voodoonauts, and is a graduate of the 2017 Clarion West writers workshop. Her short fiction has appeared in Uncanny, FIYAH, Nightmare, Apex Magazine, Lightspeed, and Beneath Ceaseless Skies. Her short story, “Bride Before You,” was adapted as a short film as part of the anthology Horror Noire on Shudder.
