		<description>So, this not-quite-a-story could have done without the "there are no black elves" bit, because a) there are, and have been for a long time, and b) it was redundant after the previous line "you aren't even the right hue"- it got the point across, with the added benefit of letting the listener put themselves- whatever their hue- into the narrator's shoes. Obviously, based on the author's resume item "professional black person", it was a deliberate, if heavy handed, choice.</description>
